Thanks to the Web & Interaction Design course, Daniele Martini, Amerigo Ievoli and Daniele Sauzzi founded the Hart Studio, an innovative startup sponsored by the Fondazione Vodafone Italia, in which they develop interactive design projects at 360 degrees.
With the ideas still less clear about what to do when they grow up, they take part to a Open Day of Quasar. They right away understood that they found what they were searching for: a path in which they were going to learn how to communicate in a creative way, without to get caught in rules too strict.
“At the Quasar we right away breathed a climate of big professionalism and we got to know all the possible action fields: from graphic design, to the production of digital and interactive contents. And maybe even more important, we learned to tell a story”.
The initial curiosity gets transformed, day after day, project after project by impulse, by creative power. Thanks to classrooms not too crowded and to the direct relationship with teachers, they learn to work as a team, discovering how their individual characteristics complete each other. In 2013 they took part to the Telecom Respect contest, that invited them to rediscover more eco-friendly life styles. The three students created the video “L’energia è un patrimonio”. A spot inspired by memories that live their own story, almost eternal, through photographs. The video got classified in the top ten.
In 2014 they participated with Labyrinth first at the Maker Faire of New York, where they were awarded the Best in class prize, and then at the one of Rome. In 2015, during the workshop of Physical Computing (Arduino), they set the basis of “Heli”, the project that they after presented to the Think for Social contest, promoted by the Fondazione Vodafone Italia, and that was chosen among the first 10 most innovative proposals, awarding in this way a financing and the inclusion in the acceleration program for startups.
Starting from the idea that what seems a limit can be transformed in a resource, Heli – Hearing Enhancement for Life Improvement, offers to people with problems of deafness the opportunity to have a more immediate relationship with the world that surrounds them.
Once the studies ended, Hart studio was born, as a spontaneous evolution of these common experiences, a reality that works in the field of the interaction design.
“The Quasar gave us great basis, that today make us to be independent professionals. Each one of us starts to get specialized in an own specific field – Daniele Sauzzi in visual communication, Amerigo Ievoli in programming, (software, app. development) and Daniele Martini in the hardware part – , this allows us to have always a total vision of the project and at the same time to not lose sight of details”.
The three Quasar graduates continue to work together with the deep certainty that their professional future is based on one side on the continuous update about new technologies, and on the other hand on following their passions. “What really counts is to know, share, grow up. And have fun. Because we know that the best part is always the one that is waiting on us”.
